Kyung-In Museum of Fine Art, established on Dec 6, 1983, is located in the center of Jongro-Gu, Seoul, Korea. The museum is well-known not only as a cultural public place, but also as a tourist spot among foreigners.
Measuring in about 1652.9m©÷, it consists of Gallery No.1~5, Atelier Gallery, outdoor space for displaying works of art, multi-purpose outdoor stage with screen for many different art related events, and traditional tea cafe.

:: Gallery Information

Renovate on January, 2000, Gallery No.1 (330.6m©÷) is a Kyung-In Museum¡¯s largest place where is consists of a neat two-story house. The Gallery with expansive space is appropriate to display diverse masterpieces both for solo exhibition and group exhibition.
Gallery No.2 (231.4m©÷), renovated on November, 1999, is the first exhibition place where uses natural lighting in Korea. It is also consists of a two-story house. The peculiar harmony between beauty of artificiality and beauty of nature creates a suitable exhibition space for masterpieces of two dimensions and constructions.
Gallery No.3 (214.9m©÷) is a Korean traditional one-story house that contains a beauty of traditions. It was rebuilt in 1996 after Young-Hyo Park¡¯s house moved to Nam-San Korean Traditional house village. The gallery is suitable space for diverse masterpieces, such as applied fine arts, painterly works and Korean paintings.
Renovate on July, 2004, Atelier Gallery (66m©÷) is a small-scale of exhibition space where is appropriate for applied fine arts, painterly works, and constructions.
Gallery No.5 (142.15m©÷) rebuilt on April, 2008, is consists of a modernistic one-story space where is suitable for all masterpieces of two dimensions and constructions.
In addition, the garden placed in Kyung-In Museum of Fine Arts gives a feeling of being assimilated with nature. The scene with ivy over bamboos wall and wooden ground create atmosphere of beauty of nature and Europe¡¯s terrace simultaneously. The spacious outdoor space also has an artificially created oriental pond.

:: Traditional Tea Garden (Dawon) Information

Located in the center of Insa-Dong, the traditional tea garden of Kyung-In Museum of Fine Arts is known as a shelter among the city life. People constantly make frequent visits the garden to rest in the bosom of nature and culture. The elegant tea garden in the Korean traditional house is already well-known place where is fragrant with trees and soil in all seasons of the year. Subtle scent of tea and Korean folk music attract visitors¡¯ sensory when entering the garden.
